Game Designer
Vangelis Bagiartakis is a professional Game Designer with over 20 titles published. He has worked with multiple board game companies around the world with some of his best-known games being Among the Stars, Dice City, Fields of Green and Freedom. He has degrees in Physics (BSc, MSc) and has also worked for 7 years in the IT Industry. He brings his vast experience in Hegemony working on the design of the game, while also providing consultation on the game’s production.

Dr Russell Foster
Academic Associate- Political Science
Dr Foster read History at the University of Cambridge, and took his doctorate in International Relations at Newcastle University. He has worked at Virginia Tech, the University of Amsterdam, and King’s College London. He is currently researching national and transnational identities in an age of returning nationalism. Dr Foster has been teaching in politics, geography, history, sociology, and international relations since 2010. He is interested in how art, fiction, and games can shape our understanding of the political world. Dr Foster is currently working on a book project about how depictions of the EU in British fiction shaped Euroscepticism before the Brexit vote. He is also working on a paper on how to teach Cold War geopolitics and the doctrine of Mutually Assured Destruction using the videogame “Defcon”. Dr Foster is advising on political concepts and the mechanisms of domestic politics.

Andreas Dounis
Academic Associate
Andreas Dounis has acquired a Master’s degree in Methodology and Applications in Social Policy from the Department of Social Policy at Panteion University and is a Ph.D. Candidate in the same university Department. He is the Founder and Content Manager of the scientific website socialpolicy.gr, a site with high impact on a broad and increasing audience. Andreas is the Academic Associate for Political Economy aiming to enhance its educational impact and learning outcomes in conjunction with its playability.
Alexander Gertz
Academic Content Manager

Jakub Skop
Illustrator
Jakub Skop is a concept designer and illustrator with over 10 years of experience. He graduated from engineering and completed his master´s studies in the field of energy machines, but his love for illustration made him pursue a self-taught career in the field of concept design. Just as in the kitchen, where Jakub strives to combine different spices in order to discover original flavors, he tries to gather inspirations from all over the world to create innovative forms of visualization. In our team, Jakob is responsible for the game´s illustrations, aiming to make them both appealing for the eyes and intuitive for the gameplay.
Dr Pawel Adrjan

Dr Pawel Adrjan is head of European research at the global job site Indeed in London and a Research Fellow at Regent’s Park College at the University of Oxford. He holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Oxford and his research focuses on a wide range of labour market topics, including wages, pensions and job search. Prior to his current roles, Pawel spent over a decade working in investment banking in London and New York. He advises on economic concepts in Hegemony.

Anastasios Grigoriadis
Game Developer
Anastasios Grigoriadis is an IT expert, an avid board gamer, and the leading game developer of our team. He is a veteran in the board game industry as he worked as a game designer and developer for more than 10 years (e.g., expansions of Time of Legends: Joan of Arc and Solomon Kane, Project ELITE, Nocturion, Pacific Rails Inc). Anastasios Grigoriadis has a bachelor’s in Electronics, MBA in Information Systems Management, and MSc in Data Communication.

Graphic Designers
Dimitris Anastasiadis & Katerina Xerovasila are “Truly“, a design team that specialises in branding and graphic design for a multitude of print and online applications. They both have obtained an MA in design from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, and since then have worked in advertising companies and design studios, until they formed their own design studio in Athens in 2014. Dimitris and Katerina make up our graphic design team. Therefore, the graphics you can see in our board game came to life through their creative energy.

George Georgeadis
Animator
George is a filmmaker, animator and the founder of “Oniro”, a creative agency that crafts immersive visuals and cinematic experiences for board games. Working with some of the industry’s top publishers and game designers he specializes in video, 3D visualization, GIFs, and photography. He loves movies, stargazing and currently has a collection of over 800 board games which he tells people is for “research”. In our team, he is the man behind our main videos and visuals!
